LeBron James led Miami Heat to victory over Oklahoma City with 103:97 in the repetition of the NBA finals last season. James was all over with 29 points, as he was close to triple-double, adding to his asset 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Dwyane Wade added 21 points and Mario Chalmers finished with a season-record 20 points for the fifth consecutive victory for Miami. Kevin Durant was the top scorer in the match with 33 points, but his efforts were not enough for Oklahoma.
In another meeting of NBA on the eve of Christmas, Los Angeles Lakers beat the New York Knicks with 100:94 and also made its fifth consecutive victory. Radzhon Rondo realize 19 points and the rookie Jared Salinger added a career record of 16 points for the success of Boston.
