The host Sweden beat Norway in Scandinavian World Hockey Derby

Jacob Silverberg, Markus Krueger and Louis Eriksson scored in a home win Sweden with 3:1 against Norway in the Scandinavian derby in Group "B" of the world Championship Ice Hockey.
The goal for the Norwegian team was scored by Mads Hansen in the second period. With this the result was 1:1. The Swedes quickly returned the advance after a goal by Krueger and Ericsson formed the final 3-1 in the final third.
The other host of the championship and world champion for 2011 Finland won with 1:0 against Belarus. Front of more than 15,000 spectators to the Belarusian team goalkeeper Vitali Koval was marked with many brilliant saves, but just before the end of the first period Jane Niscala realized the decisive goal in favor of the Finns.
