And San Diego mocked with "Chieftain"

And San Diego mocked with "Chieftain"
30.04.2013

San Diego became the latest team that mocked with bottom fish in the AFC West Kansas City. On Thursday evening, Philip Rivers became only the sixth quarterback with a 90% success rate in a match of the regular season. San Diego quarterback finished with indicators 18 of 20 for 220 yards, two touchdowns and interseption with the victory with 31:13 which for the "lightning" was the first since September.

"Match like this could be the beginning of positive change. Our victory was desperately needed. We wanted to win because of Norville Turner. He deserved, "said Rivers, who was booed by home the savaged fans at the break.

The reason for the rage to the playmaker was the thrown interseption in end zone of Kansas City. Rivers, who was 13 of 14, but throw the ball right into the hands of Eric Berry and deprive the team from at least three points. San Diego pulled out with lead of only 10:3, but exploded at the start of last part, when scored three touchdowns for just 180 seconds. First Rivers found Malcom Floyd with a 13-yard pass, after which Sean Phillips mastered fumble of the quarterback of the guests Matt Castle in the end zone and Demorio Williams crossed the pass and returned the ball 59 yards for his first trip to the spot opponent field in his nine-year career.

After the loss Kansas City (1-7) remain the only team that has not led in a single game of the start of the season. "The chiefs" were catching more than 400 minutes, their only victory came after a field goal in overtime in the visit of New Orleans on September 23. Kansas City look like a favorite № 1 for the first choice in the draft in April, and fans from a long time wanted the head of the general manager Scott Piola and head coach Romeo Crenell. Both are unlikely to be fired before the end of the season, but the chance on Dec. 31 to join the army of unemployed is enormous.

Kansas City visit to Pittsburgh on Nov. 12. A day earlier, San Diego (4-4) play in Denver for first place in the division.
