Jason Kidd's debut as coach of Brooklyn Nets will be delayed for a while after he was suspended for two games because of drunken driving.
NBA punished Kidd after he pleaded guilty to the charges and accepted the consequences under the laws of New York.
Kidd thus will miss the first two games of his team of the season - the visit to Cleveland on October 30 and the household of Miami Heat on November 1. He still leads his team in the match on November 3 in Orlando.
In front of his home crowd the legendary former guard who was caught driving drunk last July, will debut against Utah Jazz
