Lazio will take Pele if Klose quits

The management of Lazio has identified Graziano Pelle from Southampton as a possible replacement for Miroslav Klose.
The contract of the German veteran expires this summer and for the moment it is not clear whether the world champion will remain at Olimpico next season. Klose has the option to extend the agreement for another 12 months, but so far there is no indication of such intentions by his side.
This has led Lazio to prepare for the negative outcome. Lazio is looking for replacements and Pele's first on their list, although he did not leave a lasting mark in Serie A. The 29-year-old striker had a disappointing stay in Lecce and Parma, which led to the passage in the Dutch Feyenoord, where Pele has become a star.
Before the beginning of this tournament, he was sold to Southampton in Ronald Koeman, and if Lazio fight for participation in the Champions League, it will be a major bargaining chip in negotiations with the English team.
