The striker of Valencia, Alvaro Negredo, was operated as a matter of urgency, having received acute appendicitis.
The 30-year-old footballer he felt sharp pains in the abdomen, and then was taken to the local hospital, where he had to undergo surgery.
He will need to recover about one month.
Alvaro Negredo came into serious conflict with the senior coach of Valencia, Nuno Espirito Santo, and was removed from the team of the 'bats' for the team's matches in the last month and a half.
