Ibrahimovic for Guardiola: 'He is a fantastic coach, but not a man.'
27.11.2015
The fact that Pep Guardiola and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were not best friends during their period in Barcelona is clear, but the Swede never misses an opportunity to insult his former coach.
Ibra played under the guidance of the Spaniard during the 2009/10 season, but the two were in a strained relationship and the Swede left the Camp Nou.
In an interview with CNN, the player said: 'Regardless of what happened, as a coach he was fantastic.'.
'I have no comment about him as a person.', said the Paris Saint-Germain striker. Then he added, however, that Pep is 'not a man'.
However, Ibrahimovic said some warm words for his former mentor Jose Mourinho. 'We had a fantastic year. And I think he's done fantastic things in his career. Who wouldn't want Mourinho?'
About himself and possibly termination of his career, Ibra replied: 'I'm like a good wine. The older I get, the better I get.'
