Cypriot striker refused transfer to Levski
13.01.2016
The Cyprus striker Nestoras Mitidis from AEK Larnaca has refused the offer to pass to the Bulgarian team, Levski.
The Blues have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of the club-club level, but Mitidis does not want to play in Bulgaria.
In the previous two seasons the attacker realized 20 goals in 50 appearances for AEK in the Cypriot Championship, but in this campaign he lost his titular place in the team after a conflict with the senior coach, Thomas Christiansen, having started in only three derbies as a holder in the League and scored only once in six meetings in the League.
Mitidis has had 20 caps and 4 goals for the national team of Cyprus.
AEK Larnaca is the leader in the Championship after the 18th round with 45 points and has an advance of 6 points in front of the second Anorthosis.
