The former President of CONCACAF was extradited to the United States

The Vice President of the World Football Federation (FIFA), the President of the Football Federation of Honduras and CONCACAF Chief Alfred Havit was extradited from Switzerland in the United States, where he began work on a charge of corruption against him.
It is expected tomorrow Havit to appear before the Court.
The 54-year-old President, who is from Honduras, was arrested in early December in Zurich along with 16 people from the high levels of world football management on suspicion of corruption.
Havit was charged by theUS Attorney's Office in obtaining financial bribes in the amount of millions of dollars for settlement of television and advertising rights to regional Championships and meetings of the world qualifiers.
