The California dream became a reality and Los Angeles Kings became the champion in the National Hockey League of the United States and Canada. The kings beat at home New Jersey with defeated 6:1 and deservedly triumphed with the Stanley Cup with 4-2 victories in the final series.

In numerical superiority in the space of four minutes during the first part Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter and Trevor Lewis scored and gave a solid advance in favor of Los Angeles.
