Players and owners in the NHL have agreed for increase of team salary fund

The Fund of salaries in the National Hockey League of the USA and Canada (NHL) is increased and each of the 30 clubs that compete there may already have the money between 64.3 and 70.2 million dollars. It announced today the managements of  League Association and the players in the NHL.

It is raised and the lower limit of the fund for salaries, and now the owners are obliged to pay the players not less than 54.2 million dollars against 48.3 million two years ago. New frameworks of team salary fund shall remain in force until the conclusion of a new labor agreement between the owners and the players association. These frames are valid until 15 September 2012, and calls for a new collective agreement starts next Friday.

Currently, the most highly paid are Brad Richards of the New York Rangers and Tyler Myers from Buffalo Sabres, who receive $ 12 million per year.
