The management of Osasuna fired the senior coach of the team Joaquin Caparros. The 61-year-old specialist had seven losses in eight games at the helm of Osasuna and spent at the club less than 2 months.
At his place until the end of the season, Osasuna will be led by the club's Sporting Director Peter Vasilievich. Vasilievich, who is a former Serbian defender, has experience as a coach only for teenage formations of Osasuna during 2008-2010
