The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had hard times during the match with Sunderland, but his team still won with 2:0 and keep up to the last round the intrigue around places in the top four in the Premier League. The Gooners are the 5th, the point behind Liverpool and three behind Manchester City, have to rely on the mistakes of competitors in the final day of the season.
'We had a lot of situations and it was important to keep our patience. During the break, all players were angry that we do not lead in the results. Sunderland tried to hamper us to the maximum, as well as any other team.', said Wenger after the match.
