The leadership of Everton realized a record transfer, once it drew the goalkeeper of Sunderland Jordan Pickford for 25 million pounds, the amount could grow by 5 million pounds in the coming years.
In that way, the 23-year-old English international becomes the third most expensive player in the history on that position after Ederson and Gianluigi Buffon. It is also a British record for a goalkeeper. Pickford has impressed everyone with his performances last season when he made an average of 4.7 saves per game for the Black Cats, who finished on the last place and were in the Football League Championship. He was also among the nominees for the best young player of the season.
