Real Madrid star confessed to tax fraud and will pay nearly 500, 000 euros

One of the stars of Real Madrid, the Brazilian left-back Marcelo, has today pleaded guilty during a 10-minute hearing in court on charges of tax fraud and will have to pay nearly half a million euros, the AS reported. Marcello will have to divide by the amount of 490 917 euros, as in 2013 he did not pay taxes related to the player`s image rights. 29-year-old Marcelo Vieira da Silva Junior has 425 matches and 29 goals with a Madrid jersey in all the tournaments. The Brazilian is part of Los Merrenges` squad since 2007 when he passes to Santiago Bernabeu from his home club, Fluminensee.
