Lokomotiv (Moscow) and FC Copenhagen lead the first two places in Group F of the Europa League and continue in the direct elimination phase. Everything has been decided in today`s last matches of the group, in which both teams recorded wins by 2:0. Lokomotiv overcame Outlander Zlin as a guest and became unattainable on the top, while the Danes prevailed over Sheriff (Tiraspol) in a direct battle for second place. The Moscow players managed to break their Czech opponent only in the second half after the hosts stayed with 10 people due to Zoran Gajc`s red card in the 57th minute. The railroaders took advantage of their numerical advantage, and Alexei Miyanchuk (70s) and Jefferson Farfan (75`s) excelled in their score.
At the same time at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, the local team had to defeat Sheriff in order to overtake him for his better performance in direct matches.
