Kane`s next goal shot Tottenham in the top 3, Arsenal was looking at Wembley
10.02.2018

Tottenham played another straight fight at Wembley and deservedly defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the 195th Derby of North London. Harry Kane (49 `) scored the only goal today, which is under No. 23 for him since the start of the Premier League season. The English national missed another two or three options, while Dele Ali and Erik Lamela could make Tottenham victory much more expressive. Peter Check`s good interventions remained the only ray of light in the presentation of `gunners`. After all missed opportunities, the `spurs` could have missed the victory in the added time, but Alexander Lakazet`s shot passed inches from the goal. Tottenham climbed third in the Liverpool and Chelsea matches, with Mauriceio Pocetino picking seven points in a heavyweight match against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

The home manager staked the same team that started in the Liverpool match a week ago. New addition Lucas Moura stayed on the bench and still awaits his debut.

Jack Wilshire and Mohammed Elveny were the top players who could not count on injured Aaron Ramsey, who scored a hat-trick against Everton. Henryh Mhhtaaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang started, while Alexandre Lakazet was back again.

As expected, the clash started at a very high pace, both teams looking for the attack. The hosts created the first opportunity in the ninth minute when they were counterattacked well. Ali flopped to the left and handed over to Kane, whose shot ricocheted in Mustafi and became easy to rescue by Peter Cech. Three minutes later Wilshire led Obamayan behind Tottenham`s defense, but the attack was stopped because of the disputed ambush of the Gabbon. The Spurs gradually imposed control. In the 27th minute, Harry Keen missed a great opportunity after being dropped by Arsenal`s defenders, and was given the chance to spot Eriksen`s soft centering. The English national, however, failed to push the ball and his shot crossed the door.

In the 40th minute, Belerine attempted a shot from the border of the penalty area but the ball crossed the crossbar.

In the 49th minute, Harry Keane took Tottenham ahead of the penalty shootout and found Benito Davis`s center on the left. A few minutes later, Kane received a new opportunity after Eriksen`s centering, but this time his shot headed off the door. In the 54th minute the Spurs scored a shot, but Cheh killed, and Dele Ali failed with the addition. Tottenham`s pressure continued and two minutes later Cech had to intervene again and save his team after a dangerous free kick made by Erikensen.

In the 68th minute Wilshire was closest to Arsenal, but Loris had a good shot from the border of the penalty area. There were several very good opportunities for Tottenham. First, Dele Ali was taken out of the defense, but Chech came out and narrowed the corner. This prevented the midfielder, whose shot went sideways. Lamela then knocked well on the right flank and fired at the nearby beam, but Chech saved again. The Arsenal Watchman was the last barrage in front of?
