Barcelona will no longer publish compensation for players so as not to help competitors

27.01.2025
Barcelona has changed its approach to publishing information about football players` contracts. Mundo Deportivo notes that the Catalans have decided to no longer inform the general public about the amount of compensation. This has already manifested itself in the case of Ronald Araujo, who signed a contract until 2031. The fact that the Uruguayan could be bought for 65 million euros in the summer could only be learned from the press; this was not officially reported.
Barcelona believes that it should not give other clubs, especially its rivals, too much information. If someone wants to get certain information, they will have to contact the Blaugrana.
