Vokone about Gashek: an icon, at the same level from Gretzka-how much it was better than other top matters. Best goalkeeper in the history of NHL

Tomash Vokone put Dominic Gashek to one level with Wayn Gretzka. - What do you think about Hashkay as a goalkeeper about the goalkeeper? What trace did he leave in the NHL?
- He is an icon. For me, he is on the same level from Gretzky in the sense, how much better he was other top-breeds. Take, for example, Broder and Rua. Hashka was at a different level.
In my opinion, he is the best goalkeeper in history, there is no disputes. Six -time winner of Vesina Trophy, two -time holder Hart Trophy, he won other trophies too.
I followed him since childhood - first as a fan, of course, and then as a goalkeeper. His indicators, his victories speak for themselves. There is only one thing that provokes regret.
- Which one?
-he was able to go abroad only after the velvet revolution (a series of peaceful civil protests in socialist Czechoslovakia in November-December 1989, which was one of the 1989 revolutions in Central and Eastern Europe; led to the removal of the communist party from the power of the Communist Party and organized dismantling the socialist system of Czechosplications-athlete ’). Otherwise, its numbers - the total number of matches and victories - would be unrealistic.
However, if you consider it exclusively from the point of view of the seves, then he, of course, is the best goalkeeper who has ever played in the NHL.
The most striking proof is that the middle team of Buffalo was able to reach the Stanley Cup and was in two games from the conquest of the trophy (lost Dallas (2-4) in 1999-athletes ’’). Without it, it would be difficult for the team to go to the playoffs, ”said the former goalkeeper of the Czech team, Washington, Pittsburgh and other NHL Vocone clubs in an interview with Sport Magazín.
On January 29, Gasheku, the Olympic champion in the Czech Republic, who played in the KHL for Spartak and played for Detroit and other NHL clubs, will turn 60 years old.
