The case of sexual violence by the Premier League football player was transferred to the prosecutor`s office. Earlier it became known that the unnamed player of one of the Premier League clubs was charged with three episodes of sexual violence from three women: presumably, the first incidents occurred in April and June 2021, and the latter in June 2022. Two more women accused the football player of December 2023.
The athlete’s name was not disclosed for legal reasons, but it is noted that this player represented the national team of his country at the World Cup 2022. He continues to play for the club and is a player of the main lineup.
The Capital Police Service transferred the case of the Royal Prosecutorial Service.
Employees of the metropolitan police service are conducting an investigation in connection with a number of messages about the alleged crimes of a sexual nature in the period from 2021 to 2023.
Full dossier was transferred to the Royal Prosecutorial Service (CPS), and detectives continue to work with prosecutors. Women who contacted the police continue to receive support from employees, the police said.
